But i think it's because twitch have much faster growth, and it's easier to bot, commercially-oriented trendchasers flock more to twitch. Meanwhile more genuine hobbyists probably saw that all JPs are on youtube and never even considered other platforms. And most corpos choose YT because of 70/30 split and CDN tools.
Anyway, twitch getting oneguyed into sucide and most twitch people will come to youtube soon for that sweet sweet ad revenue.
