The only good thing from Niji spergout about clips is chasing out clickbaiters (by relation, coomers as well) from their surroundings. I wish Hololive did the same because I'm exhausted to see so much cheap garbage in my YT feed even after actively filtering retarded clippers through the "Do not recommend this channel" option.

I think the issue here is the implication that Niji requires you to register or to ask for permission before uploading a clip? It could be a mistranslation, but the fact that they uploaded their guidelines in JP only just adds to the confusion
Holo's native EN translated guidlines explicitly say that as long as you comply with their wishes you dont have to ask, which is the point of contention

I know Holo posted guidelines back in the day but it feels they never enforce it. Niji is an asshole company so they might do it as intended. It's funny how HoloEN would never have the perception every talent is a turbo lesbian readily down to fuck if it wasn't for yuri clickbait thumbs/clips that never get shot.
Not every clip, mind you, but every 2/3 decent thumbnails you get hit with: something lesbian or sexual, just like the next scroll gives me this.
