"Out of all the things that filter people, if it's not my voice that filters you, if it's not my personality that filters you, if it's my regurgitation that filters you? that makes me happy!"Fujikura Uruka
Melody has announced that she's going to Japan, and while she hasn't said so directly for some reason, I assume from the emotion in the announcement it is to live there and not just for a vacation.
Good for her. Japan offers many opportunities to make her streams more interesting, for both kinds of stream that she usually does.
There are a few Vshojo members I would have no problem joining Phase as Invaders (Kson, Michi, Henya). In fact, I think they would fit in better there than they do in Vshojo.
I was gonna say take Henya and ditch the rest, but I went to the site to make sure I wasn't forgetting anyone and was reminded that JP gen they debuted a while ago exists.
Does anyone know anything about them? It feels like I never see them mentioned anywhere.

They're basically irrelevant and nobody cares, vshojos model was always about leeching off of the popularity of big streamers, debuting a bunch of unknowns is trying be something they're not.
Zen being a manhera means nothing, he does this all the fucking time. He hasn't even thrown his toys out the pram by taking VShojo out of his name this time, so it's only a tame woman moment (male) all things considered.
I think there are ways she can get around it. There is lots of stuff produced in Japan that's sold elsewhere without censoring. I think she would have to make the case that the distribution is happening outside of Japan, although from looking into it very briefly, it's a case for a lawyer and I'm not one.

They're chugging along, doing pretty well. All of them are consistently above 300 average viewers, oftentimes more. And while data on it is pretty sparce, they seem to be doing pretty well for donations and subscriptions as well. Comparison wise, they're all in the top 500 Japanese twitch channels, Peke and Nagi are both top 200.

Melody is most well known for her adult livestreams. She couldn't do those in Japan; no way she could get around Japanese laws by claiming that those are distributed elsewhere if she records them in the country. I remember a case where a streamer actually got arrested some years ago for doing uncensored livestreams in Japan.
