There's no discernible reason why a reputable businessman like Fishman would want to isolate Clio from a friend group she formed before signing on to Phase Connect, or to stop Clio from participating in informal activities with them. In fact, it might lead to a small increase in viewers for other Phase talents, that get hooked on Clio from her Vershion activities and then decide to try the wider Phase Connect talent pool.

Yeah a small streaming group. Think they also have had merch runs so it'll be interesting to see how that all shakes out. Also Clio has a gamersupps sponsor I think. Then you have Mari with Mythic. So wonder how it'll shake out and if Sakana will let other girls join Mythic. Like to be honest this Phase gen kinda tossed what we knew about Phase operations cause if Sakana is this chill then damn Sayu you fumbled.

Vershion did merch of the group, which is where the potential issue of "talent getting earnings off of non-company merch of herself" might have come into play and is what the negotiations probably were about.
