Invaders auditions were completed in October last year. That would mean if Sleepy and Mari completed auditions then it'd be ~8 months from audition to debut, which is pretty impressive all things considered.


Also, this tweet below the OG audition is now extra funny considering Clio a) already knew she was in and b) was the only one in this gen who said she plays/played League. Dramatic irony.

Well, hence one of my previous posts, i am now really curious for what they'll say about "how long have they been in the basement".

I think someone being handpicked can be easily be part of something they got auditions for, unless its something nuts like just one audition and two handpicked talents i dont think its too crazy. Vshojo's nepohiring meme only gets stronger because talents bitch about it and the fact that they had people fall for a scammer, imo

It will be impossible to say for sure until much later, but yeah i suppose it will not be too surprising to learn than some Gen4 talent applied in June'24 for Invader auditions.

I agree but also if Clio was in the basement for 2 years can we really say that the public auditions which, if I'm wrong on this my apologies, came out much more recently involved Sleepy and Mari? We could honestly have another Invader Wave in 2 years if the others were picked up prior to public auditions. It feels like it is needless worry over something that is imaginary and while I feel bad for anyone who didn't make the cut it is good experience and hopefully leads the applicants to improve.

Let me just say, Phase is in a position where they can take their time in getting the right people. Fishman is in it for the long haul and he'd rather maximize on what he has rather than go after talents than can help him now but be problematic in the long run (Kirsche). All his talents took time to grow like Pippa and Tenma, now the defacto number 1 & 2 of the company in terms of subs and CCVs, with 7 talents having more than 100k subs. Phase has found its footing and is slowly cementing itself as a legit Vtuber corpo in the EN sphere, especially with the signings of Clio and Marimari.

Also, not to just put Sleepy aside, she is currently my fave of the 3. Her model's awesome, her voice is great and she's going to be the defacto gamer of Phase. Hopefully her condition doesn't impact her compared to before as I can see her getting big in Phase.

Overall, great job Fishman ya autistic chink.

The same problems Vshojo faced.

Invaders are handpicked for what they bring int the company so them getting in through nepotism isn’t an issue given that invaders explicitly exists for that purpose. Clio and Mari both stream at unholy hours for most of the US filling the dead space gap and bringing in a lot of new people. Sleepy though is definitely fishmans gamble for this generation as she’s definitely a the diamond in the rough.

The Landsknecht were really interesting as they were a highly trained mercenary army and were known to dress very garishly with excessive colors and codpieces to essentially tell others "come fuck with me" much like how Count Dante would dress flamboyantly as a bouncer to tempt people to fuck with him.

It's a good touch that Clio is tossing coins in her art, as they were also highly paid for how good they were.

to be fair it is a problem when her normal streams tend to pass the limit for youtube. Considering her tech issues, I think her trying to pause for 5 minutes to end the youtube stream and restart a 2nd one would cause her computer to explode.

Sleepy IMO had the best debut out of the three, but she is the one with the lowest pre-established audience, so that is gonna be interesting to see.
I have a feeling she's gonna grow pretty quickly if her health allows for consistency.
