I mean... joining a random chinese startup... with no credentials... who instantly got into a bunch of issues and had people join and leave like a revolving door... who had one of their people talk a bunch of bullshit about holo on stream iirc... Idk if she didn't notice the MASSIVE RED FLAGS then I am seriously questioning her intelligence.
To be fair, "no credentials" is inaccurate as the company is apparently a player in the Chinese space and has connections to gatcha companies. But yes, after it almost instantly became clear they had no idea how to handle the EN space, she combined an "I can fix them" attitude with a defensive posture when people started second-guessing her affiliation with them (plus, perhaps, whatever fat stacks of cash or other favorable deals they were cutting for her) to blind herself to what everyone else could see.
Sayu's situation makes me feel sad, I know she was stupid but I would love to see fishman making an extraordinary expansion to invaders...

Apparently her previous conversation with Fish wasn't fruitful because he was unwilling to give in to whatever concessions she was asking for. Has Sayu stepped on enough rakes now to humble herself a bit and scale back those sorts of demands? Would Fish be willing to give her a second consideration given said history of rake-stepping? Especially given the reaction the Invaders announcement has gotten, I think almost everyone would say PC's position relative to Sayu has strengthened a lot since Sayu officially announced her affiliation with Noa. Can Sayu see that, though?
