Nah, the greater indiesphere would be more like Android in this analogy, since there's lots of flavors of Android and the most devoted Android nerds often virtue-signal about just how superior it is over Apple.

I don't know either of these people but if I were in the market for art or rigging and the first thing I saw on their social media was a mucho-texto post about drama there's no way I'd work with them. It's a genuinely bad business decision to hitch your wagon to people who're unprofessional and emotionally unstable enough to take their work disputes to social media, because you can never be certain that they won't be a liability to you.
