This is the part I find actually, genuinely infuriating about the modern-day left. The entire Democrat campaign since Trump first ran in 2016 has been fearmongering, and everyone on the left whether they be moderates or radicals took the bait, hook, line, and sinker - and that has been these people's lives for the past eight years. It's fostered a genuinely abusive (and I don't use that word lightly) culture where they've been groomed into expecting the absolute worst-case scenario every time news breaks, all while living in fear of their own communities since even applying simple logic to comfort and reassure themselves could be enough to make themselves that day's witch hunt target.

It's entertaining when the red-hair SJWs, pandering soyboys and communist grifters have meltdowns over trivial shit, but seeing people who I know for a fact are smarter than this have the same reactions is just kind of sad. Nobody is truly themselves are eight years of systemic manipulation.

It was one thing to be unsure of Trump's Presidency in 2017-2018, because he was essentially an unknown wild card at that point. There's no excuse to fall for the fearmongering at this point. Everyone who voted in this election lived through 2017-2020. Trump didn't establish a dictatorship. Right Wing Death squads didn't roam the streets and brutally execute gays and vermintide. It was normal. If you survived 2017-2020, you'll easily survive the next 4 years.

And then the pregnant girl dying of sepsis in Texas is sad, but her death was not the result of a chilling effect caused by Texas' strict anti-abortion law, it was the result of a dipshit doctor missing all of the signs of Sepsis (again) and sending a girl home to die. They probably should expand the exceptions, but this isn't the case that will convince people in Texas to expand them.

Unfortunately, people have entrenched themselves into their echo chambers that unless they are spoonfed by their specific-sanitized resources, they don't want to hear, learn, or validate whatever new information comes about. It makes me question my core beliefs and it pushes me to search for information.. I don't know if Pippa is still the normielib suggested about her RM years back but at the very least she doesn't seem to have TDS. She probably has some "I don't like it but Dems deserve what they get" take if she has any actual deep thoughts on it.

Pippa has been on every part of the political spectrum and extreme by her own admission. I would say more than anything, she's like a mid 90-00s democrat voter. To be exact the kind who might lean democrat on some social issues but also prefers small government and low taxes, and thinks everyone should get along, even through disagreements, but have become so disillusioned by the political process they've basically stopped caring about elections and politics outside of like a select few things. It's really hard to actually tell what she is outside of just taking her at face value, because you can't guess based on who she surrounds herself with, seeing as she's close friends with people who are entrenched on both sides.

Basically, she's a "why can't we all just get along and love each other even if we have different ideologies and beliefs" fence sitter outside of like a few issues.
