In honor of Twitch banning Shondo for the high crime of feeling suicidal, here's some music about our wonderful dystopian overlords:
So I was listening to some old spanish indie pop, and found a song that reminded me a lot of Lumi. Made by a group called Family, its name translates as "Give Me Stars or Lemons", and the lyrics are about wishing to be a planet, to spin around a girl that is like a star, and watch her funny face as she drinks lemon. It's a cute song, and I thought it's was funny that some people 30 years ago made a song with all her elements, so I had to share it here.
How many of y'all out there are familiar with a genre called Liquid Funk?
If not, it's not what you probably picture in your head. It's a form of Drum & Bass most easily characterized by being less "intense" than typical DnB. Basically it's DnB with good, chill vibes. Feelgood Drum & Bass. Very pretty stuff. Interestingly, there's an entire label of Liquid Funk artists, which has become the hub for the genre. That label being Liquicity.
If you're looking for a unique sound that'll perk up your mood, give you that blissful flying feeling, all while also getting your blood pumping, you absolutely need to check out the stuff coming out of Liquicity.

Oh, and worth mentioning is a vocalist that Liquicity artists often work with named Veela, who's notable for the out-there lyrics she'll sing, playing it completely straight and selling it with this beautiful voice of hers.

And here's one about Kerrigan from Starcraft.
Also I absolutely have to spotlight this Liquicity track for the absolute whiplash-inducing left turn the lyrics take at the end. Especially considering how pretty the song is. You won't see it coming.
