vtubing is a vastly more viable profession for someone in SEA because the amount they can earn from overseas superchats is enormously greater thanks to local exchange rates and cost of living. Kirsche still can't afford a (good) house as a 4view with a 6-figure income in most of America, but a SEAmonkey making a few hundred bucks a month is making above minimum wage.
