I think it's the pout of the lips that really stands out as a "Chinese beauty trend" (which has also spread to young Western women, probably through TikTok, though it did exist to a lesser extent before). I've never really gotten the appeal of it – to me it more radiates a kind of "meanness" or "bitchiness" rather than cuteness.

Well, that and the animal ears photo filter. At least she doesn't edit her eyes to be uncannily large like some Chinese women do.
