Yeah, the original party responsible for them screwed them over, so they had to go with another manufacturer. I think he was wanting to seek some sort of action against the original group. Apparently, there were some stresses with Lumi's plushie as well, so she was saying she wants to take a break from plushies for a while. Plushies are also apparently a bit of a trigger for Sakana, lol.

My dumb ass did indeed spend the insane amount of money to buy all the bean plushies just so I could say I had at least one piece of merch from every Phase talent at the time. I know the slow Phase merch delivery is a funny meme, but I understand how much of a pain in the ass this whole thing has been for Phase, so I don't blame for the massive delay on them.

The concert thing was related to Sakana wanting to save penlight merch for more special events. Said she kind of saw the recent one as more of a warm-up because it was smaller and shorter than a full-on concert with more of Phase. Going to assume they're hoping for one that Phase has more control over rather than being constrained by whatever AnimeNYC had. I don't think she really revealed much relating to this we weren't already assuming was in the works.
