That story was fucking God-awful. The writers had absolutely no self-control with the retarded twists.
The twists are the least egregious things; I'm more bothered by how everyone takes -40 IQ dump to make the plot move forward, underdeveloped sections, and some awful bosses/hit stun ratio.
That last point isn't as obvious from a viewer's perspective, but I can definitely see it from some of those fights. The constant stuns from some enemies was absurd.

Yeah its kind of insane, 3 Remastered is notorious for the enemies constantly blocking and your damage output being pitiful. But 4 doesn't have that but instead throws up alot of stunning bosses with movesets that run rings around you.
