Might I humbly suggest doing what I got my buddies to do: buy the game and refund it a half hour later with a scathing rant about caving to crybullies? It's the Kirschecore version of waving a glowstick at an idol concert or whatever holobronies do to support their oshi.
Maybe hindsight is just 20/20 but I sort of smelled some shit on the way Cwimebobs dealt with her before this. Like they were never quite fully supportive or had a schism with somebody on the inside who was anime-racist, or maybe the devs were just ESL. Like they knew they needed her support and enjoyed having the numbers but didn't get to choose their spokesfox or control it and were unhappy. Or maybe some HR bitch was unhappy.
I dunno, something was off about them to begin with. So I was not shocked to hear this shit going down. Refunds are worse for a game dev than not purchasing a game at all, because the dev has to cover hidden costs like taxes, rollback fees and so forth. It would be terrible if this happened to a shitty dev that decided to drop Kirsche after she spent over a year supporting their game.
