I don't really get the recent discussion about balding and/or receding hairlines on Xitter and some other places.
Male pattern baldness is pretty much entirely caused by genetic factors. How your hair reacts to Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) is pretty much entirely genetic, to name one example.
Of course, lifestyle choices, what you're eating, etc are a small factor as well, but the main cause are just unlucky genes.
If your father and grandfather were balding, the chance that you will be balding is pretty much 100%.
The only thing you can do about that is either just accept the fact that you're balding or if you want to prevent it, you can take Minoxidil and Finasteride to prevent the hair loss and if you're lucky, you can even grow some of your hair back.
