Republicans have previously used the debunked hoax about furries in schools to justify school privatization.

I don't understand her usage of "a-la "based" Elon Musk" here. Calling it the Furries act is boomer humor, sure, but Elon's DOGE is an explicit tie-in to his love of DOGE coin and government "efficiency," it's more of a backronym pun. There is an absence of that here, it's just naming it via a contrived acronym what it would've been dubbed by the media without the acronym: The Furries Act, it bans furry shit in schools. This sort of memetic device (backronyms and contrived acronyms) has been used for decades, (most notably the PATRIOT act) it isn't new or Internet-y really outside of subject matter. Furries go back to the 90s, some real Internet 1.0 type shit. It's been a blight for a long time and has bloomed on the Internet now infecting schools, albeit slowly. I don't think it's embarrassing to try and nuke freak shit from happening in schools.
Also I read the article, it's bad and suffers the same issues I noted in my last post from Them. These queer troons can't do journalism for shit mane.
I guess Clara wanted to shit talk attacks on furries and elon being a grifter in the same post. Feels forced/disjointed.
