Wasn't there just a discussion in the past that conclude with the belief that the investors don't actually have much power compared to Yagoo?

Yagoo and the VPs control a super majority of voting stock. The company is structured like old Google under Brin & Page, so Yagoo's world is law. Sort of. It's pretty clear some of the talents to just bully him if they want something.

I think once you have a public company, investors do in fact have a strong influence (especially in the Japanese culture), and even Yagoo may have to bend on occasion. It's not just him anymore. It's probably a good thing he ditched HoloCN back then otherwise if there were investors they'd probably still be around (and Coco and Haachama might have gotten the boot then).

Cover Corp has had venture investment since the seed round in... 2017. They also had a series A and series B rounds, ending in 2020. The founders had to give up fairly minimal control of the company before they achieved profitability.

They only have the power to make retarded suggestions and/or requests. Then Yagoo says, "LOL, no." (politely, of course, because he is Japanese) and ignores their ideas.

That's the quarterly investor question period. I don't know of a single company that takes any suggestions via that quarterly reporting event seriously.

People are used to blaming "investors" and "company going public" when a company goes to shit. But truthfully, it is always the CEO being incompetent. That CEO ruins a company, and then got promoted to being the CEO of another company. That's the real reason why companies turn shit.
Most of the existing CEOs are dogshit businessmen who kept failing upwards and get shuffled around, not ultra intelligent galaxy brained people being held back by le evil investorz. Elon Musk being prime example A.

Or some other case it's a tech guy with 0 business acumen and the company was fine in the early days when they are small, and when it gets really big and 5-6 years into the business, the company started trotting toward their death cycle and the tech guy found out shit is way beyond his capability. The timing coincide with going public but not a correllation. Zuckerberg didnt focus on meta and metaverse because black rock told him to. The guy chose to do it himself.

It's always bad management. Some companies can survive with decades because they sit on an investment the prints money, but terrible management is the death for 95% of companies. Natural Disasters and Geopolitical changes make up most of the other 5%.

Kronii was very clingy at the end of her last stream and I don't know if it was a bit, she also had some issues with her family (probably some argument) and she left their family group chat in protest.

Oh, one important thing to always remember between Cover and Anycolor. Riku was a "founder"/techbro just trying to make a bunch of money and has acted like it the whole time. Yagoo was a game designer that wanted founded a new-tech/game company and found himself being the biggest idol producer in Japan. Yagoo also has a family and is a lot older, though everyone is probably still confused how this all happened. Including Yagoo himself.
