On the topic of Shiori 'betraying Hololive', I just have one thing to note, that is I wonder why did she decide now to collab with the Stars. If she really wanted her fans to "respect her collab choices", she could have started collabing with them a long time ago, but she didn't. Why start now?

It has to do with the EOPs requiring new shinier things and the eventual demise of what's left of Council, but it's typical fare; A new wave debuts and less than 5 months in some tard on reddit is already daydreaming of the next EN wave. I'm not a finance guy but 50.25% of the Cover's stock seems to be of the non-voting kind and Yagoo owns 36.78% of the remainder. So does that not mean Shareholders won't be able mandate company activities but they can(and do) kick up a fuss in AGMs(see retarded questions from the last meeting summarised in one of the other threads)?

holoEN usually notifies the people that have been accepted 3 to 4 months before their debut. Also, she can't be an invader since she's graduating. Don't invaders all bring their own models with them when they join Phase?

According to Sakana or Dizzy I forget who, these days Invaders is just a name for solo debuts. There was bring-your-own-IP and looseness on identifying your PL in the past that may not apply in the future.

As much as I beg for an ID4, maybe it will be announced, but realistically they barely make money and their biggest money maker is Kaela who does it through mostly catering to EN. Kobo exclusively advertises to ID and does terribly when it comes to revenue (Forget about merch sales but IIRC Kaela and Zeta surpass here there too). Added with Indonesia growing increasinly unstable, they might hire an ID talent but she likely would be part of EN.

When you read between the lines, especially with Japanese businesses, shareholders kicking up a fuss can easily lead to decisions made a CEO normally may not want to make or push companies into directions employees may not fully agree with. That is my point in saying "basically that." Outside of vtubing space, we've seen it happen with a lot of JP gaming studios, some leading to complete closures outright. There's a reason people always mock the way Japanese businesses are ran.
