Hello /vt/ users!
You're probably here because your homeland has rewarded your loyalty by leaking all your IPs and proving to have been a fed honeypot. If you intend to join here, be aware that our rules are not shibboleths and will be enforced equally. You will not be allowed to spread lies about your business rivals or be able to make inconvenient information disappear by sending nudes to a moderator. Adapt or die. Thank you!
How does a guy who hung out here and in KF keep having the most uninformed takes about the industry when even Yamanbas here who dont like Holo have actually nuanced negative takes on the whole state of things
As much as I memed on Gura, her situation is kind of fucked because she never had the sort of ambition or confidence someone like Mori or Suisei had and never expected to end up being so insanely massive. Added with projects being canned, and the past year being a gauntlet of graduated members she was most associated with, I actually do feel bad for her. Kind of realized that when she did that Clannad song in Holofes and she just kind of sounded defeated.
I wonder what Cover can even do to bolster fan morale for HoloEN at this point. It seems totally shot. A concert will feel bittersweet, a new gen might work but might feel like an accelerate moment, EnReco might be dead at this point(?). What can they even do?

Just debut another wave of perky, short-statured talents who can sing and fool around, then have clippers shove their stuff down the SEOd search on youtube 24/7. It works for Bijou and Gigi.

I am a creature of nostalgia and sentimentality, new gens will never work on me even if some of them are good.
Also, Gura will have practically no effect on current or future ENReco, but losing Fauna and Mumei in 'their season' of ENReco is a major blow. Sadly I don't think they have to worry about any of advent graduating before their turn comes around, so the future of ENReco is probably fine even if bittersweet.

Honestly a new Gen would probably help. We lost enough EN members that new blood to fill the void would be nice. And who knows who we'll get. If anything Cover will make sure to try to get talents that could end up being lifers.
While I do understand the sentiment, believe me I've been following holoEN from the start, nostalgia is a trap and at some point you have to learn to move on and explore new things. Be it new vtubers or just another hobby in general.
