She is an amazing streamer, even these days, when she barely streams and an amazing singer, but she never capitalized on either ability. No EPs, no albums, no nothing. It is foolish to be angry at a person you don't know, but I will lie, if I say, the fact that she just decided to abandon golden ticket like that, does not make me angry. A lot of people would be grateful for this chance and she just...wasted it. Of course, we don't know her full circumstances, but the fact she never even communicated the reason for this behavior makes it even more grating.

I do wonder if the fact that literally all the holomems graduating/affiliating were the ones she was close with was the final straw. Another thing on my mind, is that recent string of graduations might well be tied to some change in policy, where Cover obligates their streamers to actually stream, which is why people who checked out / can not / not sure, if they can stream are leaving the boat.

Honestly agreed. I was way more broken up about Fauna, Ame, and Mumei going. Gura's felt like she's been graduated in spirit for too long for this to feel like a shock or like it's taking something away, there's been too much time spent growing accustomed to her absences. I expect her to take the affiliate status. It's a good deal and I wouldn't blame her for taking the easy money in a job she's ambivalent towards.

I said this back at the beginning of march (what the heck I thought I made this joke at least a year ago), but a Promise/Myth merger could actually happen...

I still stand by what I said when I heard of Mumei though; I like holo merch and concerts and stuff, but I'd rather have the ones I like all graduate and hang out behind the scenes than have half-in/half-out. (Yes, I know that thinking that all graduated members will keep in touch is cope)
