I have a laundry list of stuff I didn't discuss here, but I think the general theme of "He doesn't know when to shut up" is the big one. If he "agreed" with the ban, we have an "Agree" sticker. Reacting to an already riled up jannie who just banned you with something where the meaning isn't obvious and could be misinterpreted is probs not a good idea IMO.

Edit: This is a good explanation that sums up my thoughts.

Nolan is Nolan. I guess he reacting to his own ban is seen as him being unusually sarcastic and the jannies decided "yep, another day in solitary."
