Isn't Sena the only one to actually successfully do something with it? Even then, it is clearly because she is actually talented enough to make it work.

She's the only one I really know that's still mentioned. I don't think Mina has done much and the guy playing a loli might still be around but I haven't really heard anything from the others, but I'm also not really following it.

Is FlaVR still a real thing or just kind of an ongoing joke?

There seems to be some people attempting to keep it going. It seems to be a very small close knit community with a couple stand outs. Most seem to just be off and on streamers, with larger ones like Sena trying to go hard. Will be interesting to see like 6 months to a year from now where they and the newer ones stand.

black screen is pretty bad as it's not that hard to just display a screen on OBS, you don't really even need a model as long as something could be seen on screen.

I didn't watch but mostly likely trying to display something that needs to be captured as a window instead of a game, or the opposite.

It's a joke until they actually keep streaming and get some fans, a few of them have. I don't really fallow who's coming up with the new chars and stuff, but as long as it's not some groomer in a dress trying to get an in to bother PC talents, then best of luck to them. When they get a schitzo on here posting about them (See Superpooper: Marie Mehlo) I'll check them out.

Even with his much Production Kawaii has fucked up this year they seem to have made the right decision by axing her. None of the other Gen 3 members have touched her with a 10 foot poll even after they dropped their corpo chains which means she really did fuck up bad.

Minna has done some streams, but she has other obligations so it's more like a weekly thing. Nearly all of them are going to be hobby streamers rather than pros, which is fine. Sawa-sama/Sour Grape-sama is sort of FlaVR but had been around for a while beforehand. She and Sena streamed with Brolime and Bagstard earlier today.
