In Nolan's defense, I bookmark timestamps of when my messages get read out or Superchat readings.
Fair, I figured that they were friends considering Azki's rm and when all three of them got into vtubing. I'll look at them more because these "early" vtubers are really interesting to me. Their longevity is comforting and it's fun finding connections to people I already know, like Figaro. It's nice to find more vsingers as well.

Mori, Hololive, she did some membership streams talking about her process writing music when she first came out, don't know if she still does them
Rita Kamashiro: is into making her own music and stuff - did some music theory streams. Dig around I really like her, she also loves to try new things so maybe she can check out what your friend is interested in.
Prism Project in general might be a good source, music production isn't my interest so kick around.

Kanata, Hololive, does mixing streams sometimes - clip. She's doing them because she wants to know how hard or easy her requests are for when she works with professionals on her songs.
Kande, Nijisanji, plays different instruments and has done 3D streams like her playing the drums. There are other instrumental vtubers if that's interesting to you.
Mikan: her whole channel is about voice training
Marine, Hololive, she has been doing VA streams where the girls voice characters, there are quite a few, but now she is having actual VA's on
V&R is a radio channel where talents are interviewed, it also has a translation channel dedicated to the episodes with Suisei and some others.
Hololive has done videos with it's talents focusing on singing techniques and voice acting - clip. Streams where their talents music is converted to lofi-mixes and such. Might be nice for sampling. Also, they have a fully translated lesson where they get VA training from an animation studio. The fanclub, https://hololive-fc.com/, has more stuff behind a monthly membership.
Others: 8bitdrummer is fun, search for any reacts related to Suisei's first take for vocal coaches/analysts you might like (ravenclaw reacts was already mentioned but she is a true gem), and if you have feedback on the recommendations maybe people can narrow it down for ya.
If they know Japanese I can link a therapist vtuber for ya too.
