Hololive x Duel Masters Plays collab in the works.
Duel Masters Plays is a Japanese only Smartphone game of the popular TCG Duel Masters
They previously had collabs with Nijisanji talents
Now my question is, who the fuck in Hololive has ever touched Duel Masters Plays.
I know Niji's Kagami plays this on a daily basis - even had Bolmeteus Steel Dragon in his 3D live.
That's actually a very impressive amount of money for someone that's as entertaining as watching paint dry.
Riifu seems to have gotten bonked by management in some way. Wondered if she could read her marrows (which are full of the most degenerate and lewd shit people can say to a Vtuber) and later said "nah, I bet all of those are of THOSE kid of marros". Additinally Kroniig (ex-Kroni sperg) asked if the slower schedule was a permanent thing and she sighed and didn't want to answer the question. Girl was doing about 2-3 member streams a week. Sometimes doing multiple streams a day. Might need to rewatch the vod or just get the TLDR from one of the shizos in VT as I probably missed out on a few things.
Honestly what makes Riifu great in a way is that she doesn't seem to know anything about Vtubing. She is very crude in a way. Hell, her company probably hired her because of how hard she went with the ASMR thing. I do wonder if they were aware of this. If they were, they should've probably given her a bit of training on what is and what isn't acceptable. Although maybe they just expected her to be familiar with it.
Not sure if management wrangled her to stop her from getting burned out or if it was just them wrangling to prevent her from committing the final yab too soon into her Vtuber career.
Edit: So apparently she had been crying at the start of the stream because of something. Girl is pretty good and just shrugging it up and putting on her poker face. That said she definitely seemed different.
Edit 2: Taking this with a grain of salt but checked vt and people are noticing and mentioned she was not talking too much about future plans. Not sure how much of this is schizo. Going to just assume she got scolded and is still a bit emotional over it.
Edit 3: Apparently said a few times "cant say that" during stream. According to her she is somewhat autistic and (from what I have seen) she sometimes doesn't have a filter.
Even if she acts in the whole dommy mommy way she is still very young and whatever happened seems to have shaken her up a bit. Going to also asume that the crying at the start had more to do with coming back and seeing a ton of people waiting for her and giving her support. A bit of the parasocialism someone like Shiina would have. She has mentioned a few times that she is a bit of a shut-in. Going to also assume that her gen-mates and her community give her a sense of belonging somewhere.

The only card games enthusiastic in Hololive has been Subaru mentioning Yugioh a couple of times and Maybe Suisei with Vanguard (?) but to be honest this looks like one of these collabs where they will use the most popular members
