The real interesting bit is the section about donothons. It basically confirmed my assumption that the donothon was a thinly veiled excuse to test new marketing methods to see what works best.Aviel - aka Mr. CEO of Idol said:Hello again, and welcome to this week's article! We're delighted to have you join us as we continue to share insights and updates from behind the scenes at idol. In today's article, we'll be focusing on our marketing strategies, as well as providing you with some exciting updates from the past week. We hope this information will help you gain a better understanding of how we approach our work and support our talents.
Redefining VTuber Agency Support
One of the common promises made by VTuber agencies is to help market and promote their talents. However, in reality, many talents are left to their own devices to grow their audience once the debut period is over. At idol, we wanted to break away from this trend and push the boundaries of what a VTuber agency can do to support talent growth.
By being actively involved in our talents' content creation journey and crafting tailored marketing strategies, which we'll discuss in this article, we help ensure the continuous growth of our talents. Let's take a closer look at how we're changing the way agencies promote their artists.
Maximizing Debut Impact
Talent debuts are a critical moment for VTubers, as they present the perfect opportunity to gain initial recognition and showcase their abilities to a wide audience. Our primary goal with each debut is to attract the largest possible audience, ensure high-quality viewership, and create an unforgettable viewer experience.
We're committed to making each debut marketing campaign bigger and better than the last, which is why we're comfortable sharing some aspects of our strategies publicly. We're confident that our future marketing efforts will be even more optimized and feature larger-scale initiatives than ever before.
That being said, here are some key elements from our idolEN 1 debut marketing campaign, which we can openly disclose. Please note that there are other undisclosed strategies not mentioned in this article:
- High-quality animated trailer: We collaborated with the incredibly talented Mazu, who has a large following of VTuber fans.
- Community sponsorships: We sponsored well-known individuals in the VTuber community to share information about idolEN debuts.
- Multi-platform advertising: We launched aggressive yet optimized marketing campaigns across four different platforms.
- Watch-along collaborations: We paid VTubers to watch along and react to our debuts.
- Clip channel partnerships: We sponsored popular clip channels in the community to feature our talents and promote their debuts.
- Artist collaborations: We hired well-known artists in the VTuber community to create artwork for our talents and promote their debuts.
By implementing these strategies in the past, we managed to reach a wide-scale audience and successfully market our talents' debuts.
Advertising on YouTube and Donothons
YouTube advertising may seem like a straightforward way to promote talents, but it's not as simple as it appears. Many VTuber agencies avoid using ads due to their inefficiency in growing channels and attracting quality audiences. However, with micro-optimization and tailored campaigns, it's possible to achieve impressive results and turn paid media into organic growth.
Over the past year, we've invested more than $70,000 in refining and optimizing our paid media campaigns. You may have noticed our recent 48-hour donothons for each of our IdolEN talents, which provide not only an opportunity for the community to support the talent, but also a chance for talents to forge closer connections with their audience by streaming for extended periods.
In truth, the original reason we wanted to do these donothons was to use them as an opportunity to test different marketing strategies. It's rare for talents to stream for long periods, which are necessary for gathering valuable insights and assessing the impact on their channels in real-time. These donothons have helped us optimize our marketing strategy and obtain real-time feedback on how to optimize our marketing efforts. This valuable data will contribute to the development of our next stage of evergreen advertising campaigns, which we plan to launch in the very near future.
By conducting these tests and continuously refining our advertising strategies, we aim to provide ongoing support for our talents, ensuring their growth and success.
Organic Growth: Supporting Talents Through Content Creation
While paid marketing is an essential part of our strategy, it will never replace organic growth. Over the past week, you may have noticed our efforts to help our talents grow not only through paid promotion but also through their own content creation journey.
It's important to note that our approach to organic growth is not mandatory, and our talents have the freedom to choose their path. We don't believe in forcing talents to create content they're not passionate about, as this can lead to burnout, which we strive to avoid at all costs. Instead, we aim to provide our talents with all the tools they need to comfortably pursue their chosen direction.
Some of the initiatives you may have already noticed, which we plan to expand on, include:
- Daily shorts for some talents, heavily edited by our talented editor team.
- Running a separate daily clip channel, so that people who miss streams can catch up in their free time.
- Highlight videos and other content for talents who wish to have their streams edited down.
- Producing cover songs and original songs that are heavily edited and mixed by our team for talents who want to invest more into music.
It is crucial to note that our assistance goes beyond merely offering video editors and financial support. We strive to provide comprehensive aid to our talents by working with them on a weekly basis to develop their content strategy, create analytical studies and presentations, and impart valuable information through training sessions that aid in their organic growth and content strategies.
As we continue to grow, we will continue helping our talents expand their content and audience. Our goal is to create a supportive environment where they can thrive, both creatively and professionally. By offering various options for content production and audience engagement, we empower our talents to take control of their growth, while also providing them with the resources they need to succeed.
In summary
As a VTuber agency, our commitment to nurturing our talents and fostering their growth sets us apart from the competition. We're excited to see what the future holds for our talents and our agency as we continue to push the boundaries of what it means to support and promote VTuber content creators.
We'd like to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitude to our viewers, who are the driving force behind our agency's reach and success. Your support and enthusiasm for our talents make all our efforts worthwhile. Additionally, we want to thank the creative community for their amazing fan content, which helps spread the word and expand the reach of our talents.
We look forward to sharing more updates, strategies, and exciting news with you in the future. Once again, thank you for being a vital part of our journey, and for believing in our talents and our mission as a VTuber agency.
Stay tuned for more, and remember that your support makes all the difference.

Her talk about making it as a fan so she could be more than a fan with her oshi was kinda funny, all things considering.Kiara's plan to make friends with her is 100% awkward anime protagonist material....
What do you mean?Ame is going off on the shippers LOL. Based.
I mean at least Aviel confirmed a lot of stuff since people really noticed the excessive advertising and used it as criticism for other corpos who weren't marketing hard enough. Take note fishman, or he will take more of Shiina's editors. The real interesting bit is the section about donothons. It basically confirmed my assumption that the donothon was a thinly veiled excuse to test new marketing methods to see what works best.
Let's not tempt fate
Somehow emptied a magazine on a guy 2 meters in front of her and missed
Now she dropped a gun because she needed to be frisked. In front of the guards who do the frisking.
One thing I didn't consider when picking Fauna was the food you'd be getting.
- one you'd like to be your mom: Kiara Fauna is the obvious choice, but Kiara is more fun.
Actually possible between 1912 and 1948.I think I said Ina was the most likely to earn a gold medal in the sports event. I mean, it's SUCH an obvious choice.
Apparently she said this in a membership streamWhat do you mean?
Let's not tempt fate
LiesCome on back @Depressed Nousagi we'll be nice to you, sometimes.
Fauna dislikes vegans who force it upon others, so you'll be safe.Peafowl are not known for their stealth.
One thing I didn't consider when picking Fauna was the food you'd be getting.
If Kiara's your mom, you may actually be fed meat every now and then.
With Fauna, well...
I get the feeling Ina would be stuck in her messy room during the entire apocalypse, won't get bitten then.First to get bitten in a zombie apocalypse: Ina She can't run
I'm very curious what the actual intent was? Is this some weird translation fuckery or is the intern just a dumbfuck?Stolen from reddit but those who wanted HL drama, some min wage staffer fucked up. Tweet is deleted already.. what is the babelfish translate lol We now know who HL considers their EN troublemakers.
