Melody has 8 k viewers in cb streams after 3 years, but that's chump change compared to where she might be if she had just went the normal route.

I find it odd how you're brushing aside a number like 8k CCV. Maybe the top half of a percentile of vtubers are able to consistently pull a number like that. People are making decent livings with one tenth of that, and they're not on porn platforms (which I presume have a higher level of income in relation to CCV than general platforms but who knows). You're also presuming that she has the skills and rizz to attract a huge audience when the stream isn't about exposing her 3D-modeled erogenous zones. Maybe that's all she can do, or all she wants to do. Either way, she's certainly rolling in it already, so it's bizarre to lament her lack of success.

The key point he is making is that while it is larger than most, it doesn't come close to the largest, which Yuko has made clear is one of her goals, and considering that people who started after Mel have surpassed her in views and her own climb has either stagnated or plateaued, not to mention the many other problems her style of v-tubing has caused for by her own admission, it seems evident that her path isn't the one you take on that route.


He isn't necessarily denigrating Melody or saying 8K isnt respectable, but if your goal is to be the best (or one of it), then from that perspective 8K ccv is "cum change".
