This insinuation feels weird considering there are like 2(?) loli models in Tsunderia prior to them going under - Purin's new model and Amiya (which she isn't even pedobaiting with)
They seem to be hinting at the idea that Haewon was let go because "she was against pedobaiting" despite the facts being against them.

People gave shit to Connor when he talked out of his ass about Hololive. But the thing is, he admitted he knew shit and was just spitballing, while trying to confirm with mouse what he was saying. And from then on, he tried to "educate himself" on the topic because he was interacting with them. He ended up admitting it was an ignorant and dumb take (even if he wasn't entirely wrong) and knows more or less how things work.

Because that is who this MONKE man is. He talks out of his ass about topics he knows nothing (warning to not take his word because he really doesn't know) and then asks if his take was far off or not, then proceeds to learn if the topic interests him.

Meanwhile we have the Anime man, who told Connor his take was dumb without elaborating why, and has been for more that a year with people who knows Vtubers or works with them. Then he opens his mouth and his takes are equally as dumb as Connor's.

Just goes to show how effective the "don't open your mouth to confirm how dumb you are" is, because he seemed to know a lot more then Connor.

Joey is basically the opposite of Connor.

Joey shuts up and doesn't learn on the subject matter, then when he is forced to give his take without being able to bandwagon on other's opinion he proves how little does he know.

The thing with these fuckwits is that i think even as uninformed as their takes are, these are pretty common takes about vtubers. Pretty much any normie with some basic knowledge of vtubers but that doesn't give that much of a shit would make these.

The "Hololive (big agencies) guarantees success" and "Vtuber fans only care about the model" are both true to an extent; hololive does guarantee success, but getting in requires you to be talented, vtuber fans do tend to judge chuubas by their model, but if the person is a wet rag only coomers will stay.

Both of these come from a place of willful ignorance, i don't think they are malicious, just, making wrong assumptions based on preconceived notions. A lot of ironic weebs who frequent twitter (which anitubers fall into) tend to complain about the less savory parts of japanese culture and how it doesn't align with western culture, the same applies for vtubing, with hololive being an easy target because of how mainstream, corporate and idol-focused it is. Meanwhile vshojo is it's antithesis, and thus loved and praised.

I haven't even gotten to watch the whole chadcast yet, but IRyS is such a dang frickin cute dork. Calli mentions how she saw IRyS buying weird snacks at the convenience store, and that she looked so proud of herself for finding the weird snacks. And then just a couple minutes later:

Imagine taking a break because you have to deal with your entire family getting hospitalized due to COVID then coming back to stream to play a game you're excited about and have fun with your fans only to get harassed like this. I imagine that the problem is not so much that they will get in trouble for it, but more so that it would kind of suck the joy out of the game if you are used to having calm and nice chat interaction, but then you play this one game and suddenly you have to deal with a civil war in your chat, and constantly defend yourself against people coming in there and "voicing concerns" regarding your game choice.

I think that is the thing that annoys me the most with all this shit. Many of the people who are complaining are faking being polite about it, and pretending they are just calmly highlighting something "problematic", but they are doing no such thing. They are just acting polite and hoping to round up a mob that will cause enough trouble to get the streamer to drop the game, because it's easier to stop playing than it is to constantly police the chat.
