The USA only ever had limited combat operations from the end of Vietnam in 1972 until the invasion of Afghanistan in 2001. That 30 year gap where everything was "show up, smash things, leave" for the vast majority of service personnel mattered a lot for moral & the general public's view of the military. 20 years of negative feedback loops and suddenly there's a recruiting crisis. Gee, I wonder why?I would say that the ones I know are a lot more quiet about their "America is the greatest country" bit and instead have some words about politicians that can best be described as "Fedposting: Competitive Edition". I've only known PoGs to be "FUCK YEAH, WE'RE THE BEST, AMERICA IS PERFECT!" after leaving service.
Amiya is WASTED. Haha
