I mean Nagzz is annoying sure but I don't think it should be overlooked that he has a positive relationship with Tenma and overall hasn't done anything haram in the community. He's just an anime weeb who realized early on that vtuber content was the next big thing and has always been supportive of the vtubers he's interacted with, he helped Mouse make connections in her early days and his retarded content playing nekopara was usually good for laughs. More importantly he helped Tenma find a new audience to push her content to and helped her get over a plateau she was at when she felt she was being limited by the type of content she's "expected" to put out, she's been growing at a steady pace since she started getting regularly featured on his react clips and collabing with him and I've never seen him try to game on that fact or brag on it, he just gushes over anime girls and continues making retarded soy faces.

I don't know enough about Koe to really say but he does seem genuine and he's been doing the vtuber react thing forever as well, so I don't put him in the same grifter category as some of the other react types and clipfags.

Funniest thing about Koe is how blatant of a leech he is. Man used to be a somewhat respected and beloved member of the anime FGC who, while showcasing his love for vtubers and general anime bullshit from time to time, stuck to his niche and seemed to have fun doing so. Naturally, this never gave him much in the way of numbers (no one in the FGC aside from Maximillian Dood can even hope to break the 2K CCV glass ceiling.) Now, all he does is vtuber reactions that are about as insightful as an ethics in management course taught by Niji. Dude can do whatever he wants to chase that bag; a hustle's a hustle, but let's call a spade a spade. At least he has yet to cause any drama.


From what I recall, she said some stupid shit, had a "muh harassment" episode over having her face photoshopped onto porn, which her 9(?) year old daughter saw as she tried to console her. She decided it was a good idea to let everyone know this had happened, and it blew up in her face so fucking hard that she pulled a "I'm leaving the internet" only to come back a couple days later under a new name and avatar... while advertising her new identity under the old one. She has had multiple instances of shit takes and oversharing, but this is what really put her on the radar afaik

Koe and Nagzz both fill the same kind of space with a pretty major overlap, they're more normie-space gateways to chuubas, though Nagzz' chat seems far more weeb than he is. Koe is also far more prone to soyface shit than Nagzz who really only uses it in thumbnails because youtube algorithm shit, Koe makes gay faces unironically. However, where Nagzz has a lot of react content and regular clip reaction streams he's a little limited on really diving far into interacting with vtubers outside of a handful. Tenma as mentioned, he's also friends with chibidoki and I think he's had Haruka on several times? Koe meanwhile's started something of a talkshow where he sits down with some chuuba and talks with them at length that's been kind of cool for the few bits I've seen. I don't know all of who he's spoken with so far but I know he's sat down with Pippa, Olle and Mika so far.

I also wouldn't say they're grifters, but Nagzz is more or less only tangentially related by interactions, Koe is actively trying to make content with other vtubers in the sphere. Also his girlfriend (Faith?) has apparently decided to become a vtuber herself, so there's that.

Isn't that part of the appeal when it comes to most "react" content. Sure the X person that knows about Y will give their imput on Z is usually great. Ravenclaw comes to mind. Her videos on the Hololive King covers are amazing plus all of her videos breaking down Suisei's albums are fantastic to listen to.

The other appeal is the regular random person that knows fuck all bout X, interacts with it for the first time. This is lower effort but there is a big group of people that watch this content because "I wonder what this normie will think of this thing I think is really cool". Basically Anthony Fantano or that other Brad meth-head femboy that loves to shit on Calli despite not having a single song worth listening to.

Nagzz is just some boomer that got big from VR Chat and has a very loyal community. He would do react content and people started putting Vtuber clips into his react streams to the point where he just decided to do Vtuber-only clips. After that, he got a bit into the hole and started a series where a friend of his would introduce him to the different Hololive Vtubers. Eventually, due to being on Twitter he became friends with some of the Vshojo girls and whatnot. Also, he followed and supported people like Numi, Shylily, and Haruka before they blew up. I respect the dude just because of that. Despite being a normie he raided, collabed and befriended these people before they blew up, and in a way he helped them grow. For Koe he got into the hole during more or less Covid where he basically started his solo journey through Hololive. Dude's a fucking nerd and pretty wholesome overall.

They just make content that seems to be more catered to normies. At no point, any of them have seemed to want to profit from this which is impressive since Vtubing is full of clout chasers and leech orbiters.

It was not put behind a paywall to incentivize people to join his membership. This is the same shit False and the other drama fags kept going over to push their side. From what I remember, it was just something he asked his members if they wanted to see. It was kept off the main channel because discussing past life shit was taboo (especially at the time when Hololive Historian was posting facedox bait shit on Youtube).

JP Keemstar. He's mostly a useless bag of shit but he's the one who broke the story of Mel's manager harassing her. The manager was removed from his position but still allowed to work inside Cover and he continued to harass her until Narukami broke the story. Then about a week after the shitstorm had splattered all over Cover, they put out a typical JP corpo statement and the guy eventually got fired (I think, can't really remember how long it took).

Mel put out her statement in May 16, after she already lawyered up and the issue was resolved with manager getting fired back in March. Cover did theirs in May 25. He didn't get fired because of Narukami and he certainly wasn't the reason why Cover put out the statement either. He simply regurgitated what was already known at this point and added that it was a manager (this is never officially said anywhere, including Mel's own statement, but it is extremely hard to imagine any other role that could work at Cover and have enough info on members to get in touch with them off work). He is not some kind of savior and whistleblower, he is just like the rest of dramatubers who takes his info from 5ch and then talks about it as if it was verified truth. You are acting like the reason manager got fired was a random guy on the internet talking about, not their own employee filing a lawsuit against a company to get him removed
