Not that it necessarily has anything to do with your post, but for anyone receiving DHL merch the moment you get a shipping notification go in and change the delivery to a service point. So much safer and more reliable than getting it delivered to your address.

Serafi had her first ASMR stream earlier. She uses a normal mic and the majority of it was just a zatsu and soft singing but it was nice. She got pretty real a few times. Like...maybe a little too real.

But she's a good egg and that raspy voice is a killer. I can listen to her all day versus the usual cute uwu anime voices.

She's breaking my immersion! She's a regular women! She's actually good at ASMR sounds with a regular mic other then getting excited talking about random topics.

Moona used to be in an Idol group. Suisei tried out for Idol groups and said she wasn't chosen because she was good at everything but not great at one thing. Aki practiced different dance styles. I am sure some of the boys also danced, I think Astel was a theater kid or something.

Bae was a hip hop dancer, I believe there is a difference. And according to her La+ used to do dance related content before Hololive that Bae watched regularly. So those two are the big ones in Hololive IIRC

Bae did the whole preforming arts High School career, I think she and many others were heavily influenced by Kpop which mashed Hip-Hop with group stage performance. La+ makes sense, her dancing was out of pocket.

Non-hololive I know the GGN girls used to be Idols in Japan. Shiina was a dancer, I think Airi too.

I think the vtuber pipeline is either: artist, singer, gamer, voice actor or internet enthusiast with dancing being an elective. All around entertainers are pretty rare.

Pretty sure hip hop dancer these days means you can be a bit of everything but a master of none. Atleast that's what I've heard from dancers (girls/males) around me. (hip hop dancer is the baseline these days(because that's what's important) according to them which branches into "ESL" styles after the hiphop

a little elaboration on this. HipHop is usually taught as a baseline because it teaches rhythm and it has alot of moves that look fancy but are more or less easy to do once you get it. (standing flip and the numerous spins) it does have alot more advanced moves for those who wish to pursue it fully but it also leads rather easy into other styles since you already know how to move to the rhythm and some of hiphop/breakdancings moves are excellent primer for other dance styles.

When superduper first appeared here I thought it was funny to call her Rie as a shitpost, but by the time superduper was away from the forums for exact same period of time Rie was doing a 48-hour donothon, I have become thoroughly convinced that Rie and Superduper are one and the same.
