I think in terms of control jank Heroes has worse stuff at points then Shadow, everything feels stiff and slippery at the same time and the levels are not aware of that so you need to be careful of your movement a lot or you'll just flail off the level. I never found that issue with Shadow, but Shadow has million times worse level design due to the mission garbage while being as long as Heroes, especially on the Ark levels. They're both painful in their own special way.

It hurts me to remember that game. It will be a treat to see Magni play Shadow The Hedgehog, Complete a level, and see the whole level tree leading up to many endings. Hope he isn't going for 100% when he goes into it

Fair points, but STH is ultimately worse because not only does it play bad and have bad levels, but because of this cringe shit.

Unironically yes, I'd rather play a Shadow 2 then this "return to retro roots for the 10th time" and "Sonic is a taunting asshole who's 2co0l2car" crap Sonic has been doing for years now. That moment when fucking Black Knight feels like the last time Sonic felt right as a character says everything about the state of Sonic for the last decade.

Also Maglord wants to play Secret Rings, he really wants to suffer for those Sonic ambassador perms it seems.
