I mean, if I'm going by pure entertainment factor, I've seen way worse movies. The acting wasn't even relatively that bad compared to some of the other truly terrible B-movies out there.

I didn't expect to genuinely laugh at the movie, but y'know.
Still, this is probably the most Chinese movie not made in China I've ever seen. There's so many Chinaisms like the dog being worried about his face and status over diving into a pool, the cycle of reincarnation, the gypsy woman being a dragon aunt, etc..

Don't forget the gay Chinese man afraid of being broken branch and making grandma cry.
