I love how a huge number of people think he's black. Its hilarious.

It's also amusing to think how many people will probably freak out if they found out, because I've got to admit, if I was only going on his cadence, enunciation and tone, I'd probably draw the same conclusion based solely on stereotype. That's also what makes it funny, I remember bringing up before the irony in presuming racism over assumptions also applying to the people that assume Kyo is black because of how he talks.

That's how I feel about Shondo. Love her personality, she's actually funny sometimes and she has extremely based takes. Plus she's friends with Fauna. But her voice man, her fucking voice. She literally sounds like a 12 year old.

This is also why her babyvoice shit bothers me as much as it does, because I knew about her for a while and knew she has a decent normal voice, I don't doubt she could still do a voice that fits a loli design without sounding like an infant. I'm not going to fault her for the choices she's made because she is pretty good with it, but I can't listen to her speak more than 4 minutes without going into a permanent rage.

Let's wait and see. The term "loli" seems to apply to just young girl characters nowadays more often than actual lolicon stuff. If it's just a bunch of non-sexualized girls with obnoxious uwu voices like Shondo then who cares. I won't fault anyone who thinks they used that word to intentionally push buttons, though.

I'd say that's always been the case really, though loli and lolicon are pretty coterminous in origin. It doesn't necessarily have sexual connotations on it's own but language has a funny way of inheriting definitions.

I don't know how many more times I can post "he's just like me fr fr" before I stop doing it semi-ironically.

I'm past that point already, there's so much overlap for me that I realize my Mandela Effect moments are because I'm an alternate timeline Vesper that shifted to this universe. The biggest difference is I don't have wizard magic on the line.

It was @Scoots who started doing Recaps, at page 313. I joined him to get from 1 to 313, then he took a break. It would be great if someone else joined, since now I gotta recap current events and chase from 261-313, and then we need to do 600-1050. I can do it myself though, so no pressure on anyone!

She has pretty reasonable takes, but I REALLY doubt that she's over it all, especially bringing this up now.

Political reasons are the reason. Admiral Yi is famous because he fought and defeated the Japanese. This is why you'll never see him in something like Fate/Grand Order. That being said most vtubers have the historical knowledge of a rock so I'm not sure how much they know about these people.

It's like the stuff with Calli. There's a thin line between "saying you don't care about the haters" and "saying you don't care about the haters so much that you come off as caring about the haters." My guess is that Enna falls mostly into the former camp but who knows. /vt/ was a real shitshow (even more than usual) with Holo fans shitting up the catalog with posts about the offcollab.
