I view it more like, a convention needs to cater to all sorts of viewers. For a vtubing convention, part of that involves bringing in a mix of talents that newcomers and veterans will both be interested in seeing, and KizunaAI is catering to veteran viewers.

The other thing is that an event like this gains prestige based on the type of talents it can bring in, and being able to say you had KizunaAI as one of your convention guests makes you much more prestigious and reputable a convention, than a convention that can't pull such guests.

As a phasekek you shouldn't want this, if offkai is legitimized then it'll become an E3 situation where anyone who isn't there is a sort of pariah, giving the tranny commiefornian organizers power over public perception of companies and talents.

Neither conventions nor awards shows nor news coverage nor anything put together by third parties should be able to control public perception, that is where the ideologues sneak in through and with a weakened EN scene it will actually be the end of everything good left in this fucking hellhole.

I've been freaking out about this topic for a few years now. Goro's pl had a few irl posts on her twitter. First it was a video of a hot black chick showing her body in a bikini (which I won't post so I don't get a warning from the mods since I already have a warning). After that on handcam stream she showing brown hands. And after a while, she posted a bunch of selfies of a typical asian(?) girl with glasses. I have a trying to figure out what's going on and where the truth lies.

Phase Connect is large enough socially (compared to other convention attendees) hat not being included would be extremely questionable, they contributes too much financially for them to be removed, and all the people that run stores at the event would be really annoyed if the company that pays for artist alley was told they couldn't attend. Right now, Offkai needs Phase Connect. But I agree with you in hoping that this changes in the future so Phase Connect does con stuff without Offkai, or Offkai gets better at choosing who helps staff their event so there aren't any issues.
