That's an opinion I've had for years now. Most of the western indie Vtubers are just regular Twitch whores with a Vtuber avatar:
Their goal is to attract the same normie Twitch coomer audience plus the coomers in the vtuber sphere, which, let's be honest, sadly makes up about 60% of the general audience for western vtubers. That's why so many of them are making a Fansly as soon as they're getting a sponsor offering from them. You can milk the Twitch Coomer audience with your regular big tiddy or loli coomer model already, but the Fansly sponsorship takes it to a new level. Sadly, this type of behavior is generally accepted and even encouraged by a lot of VTubers in the Twitch sphere.
I remember seeing some say a while back that the ones officially sponsored by Fansly aren't allowed to do whore content as part of their contract. No idea if that's true or not though.

That same thing happens on YouTube with smaller streamers going unscatched after masturbating during ASMR streams. The one part you got it right is about the support, because Twitch communities are more tight-knit, and YouTube doesn't offer tools to creators for mixing communities together (their raid system is still pretty raw).
Another misplaced responsibility is where the Fansly grind came from. It was Bao masturbating and howling like a banshee while earning 30K dollars in two weeks that opened the gates, nothing more, nothing less. A lot of vtubers already used Fansly for some NSFW fanservice, featuring porn skebs, L2D porn, audios/ASMR, and so on. The thing that broke it was the whale.
The "Twitch vtubers" you're talking about are a handful of succesful whores who got a lot of grifters rushing to their side to get a piece of that semen-stained gold, the bubble -or rather, the other bubbles don't really engage in the same behavior, as I don't put Mozu or the SEA whores together with Ami and Meche because of their platform of choice.

Didn't she have a whole format where she had a guest on and they would talk about very lewd topics? I'm like 99% sure that this was a format she had on her Twitch channel and sometimes it would get too spicy for twitch and they would move the stream to another site.
