you can just make a vanilla boat its way quicker. But yeah this mod definitely has some moments that are a bit too grindy for no real reason.

Fyi skinport is mandatory and the server will not let you connect without it. The other client side mods might also be mandatory but I haven't made confirmation on that.

@The Rrat apparently this is caused by a paper issue could you see if there is anything you can do to fix it. This git hub thread appears to have a fix https://github.com/PaperMC/Paper/issues/9172.
