I wouldn't be surprised if the money's drying up and they're cutting costs. Virtue signalling is not a reliable long-term business strategy.https://bsky.app/profile/turbodawg.com/post/3lpjbnogmck2h

Possible. Also not entirely impossible that Matara and Bricky are starting to poach staff members.I wouldn't be surprised if the money's drying up and they're cutting costs. Virtue signalling is not a reliable long-term business strategy.
That would actually be hilarious. Also not entirely impossible that Matara and Bricky are starting to poach staff members.
Seriously, can we not?status in case of collapse?
Melody has announced that she's going to Japan, and while she hasn't said so directly for some reason, I assume from the emotion in the announcement it is to live there and not just for a vacation.
Good for her. Japan offers many opportunities to make her streams more interesting, for both kinds of stream that she usually does.
There are a few Vshojo members I would have no problem joining Phase as Invaders (Kson, Michi, Henya). In fact, I think they would fit in better there than they do in Vshojo.Seriously, can we not?
I was gonna say take Henya and ditch the rest, but I went to the site to make sure I wasn't forgetting anyone and was reminded that JP gen they debuted a while ago exists.status in case of collapse?
They're basically irrelevant and nobody cares, vshojos model was always about leeching off of the popularity of big streamers, debuting a bunch of unknowns is trying be something they're not.I was gonna say take Henya and ditch the rest, but I went to the site to make sure I wasn't forgetting anyone and was reminded that JP gen they debuted a while ago exists.
Does anyone know anything about them? It feels like I never see them mentioned anywhere.
Start begging now.status in case of collapse?
I think there are ways she can get around it. There is lots of stuff produced in Japan that's sold elsewhere without censoring. I think she would have to make the case that the distribution is happening outside of Japan, although from looking into it very briefly, it's a case for a lawyer and I'm not one.Actually, Japan would be a bad place for her to live in the case of her adult stuff, because she would run afoul of their censorship laws.
They're chugging along, doing pretty well. All of them are consistently above 300 average viewers, oftentimes more. And while data on it is pretty sparce, they seem to be doing pretty well for donations and subscriptions as well. Comparison wise, they're all in the top 500 Japanese twitch channels, Peke and Nagi are both top 200.I was gonna say take Henya and ditch the rest, but I went to the site to make sure I wasn't forgetting anyone and was reminded that JP gen they debuted a while ago exists.

Melody is most well known for her adult livestreams. She couldn't do those in Japan; no way she could get around Japanese laws by claiming that those are distributed elsewhere if she records them in the country. I remember a case where a streamer actually got arrested some years ago for doing uncensored livestreams in Japan.I think there are ways she can get around it. I think there are ways around it, and she seems to think so as well since she had multiple streams on OnlyFans since going to Japan.Melody is most well known for her adult livestreams. This is likely my solo contribution to this general.
Nux reacted to a video covering all his drama and had new juicy info to give on the Vshojo drama as well as Taiga time stamp 48:45
Nuxanor - Watch the VOD on Kick
ALL THE DRAMA. ALL THE LORE. ALL THE GETTING CANCELLED ON X.kick.com
He prefaces by saying that this is all water under the bridge now and is simply providing further context. This was years ago and he doesn't care anymore. He tells his fans not to stir any shit about what he's about to reveal .
New Vshojo Vs Nux details (will crosspost Vshojo stuff to the correct thread)
The Phishers would get the personal information by sending a fake Vshojo contract for the victims to sign with all their personal info. He also claims they were caught BEFORE the video was uploaded so from his perspective no one was in danger any longer.
He notes that Froot's claim of Nux
"asking for for numerous terms and conditions to take down the video" was actually 1 condition. That Nyanners delete her discord callout post libeling him, and retract the statement that Vshojo told him to not upload the video
He believes that there are 2 reasons Vshojo turned on him. 1. Vshojo looked bad for not warning people about the Phishing. 2. Nux didn't name names but said that there were talents that don't like Nux pulling some strings. I assume Nyanners and Froot coincidentally he also makes the claim that despite Nyanner's assertion that EVERYONE apologized to Nux, Zentreya was the only one who made "very genuine" public apology, "A Bunch privately apologized in calls and were genuine and I forgive them" but "2 people did NOT apologize publicly or privately Let's be clear not everyone did", and all the callout tweets are still up to this day.
Despite the fact that Melody (he didn't name her directly just said a talent) was in the chat he believes she lied about not knowing about the video contradicting Mouse's claim that she was not present only having made the chat then leaving to do meet and greets all day.
He denies the claim that none of the talents knew about his collaboration with Vshojo on the video, essentially saying that this controversy being the result of just miscommunication is bullshit "it's not just poor communication there is a reason I was a threat in certain regards...some people were not exactly big fans of me"
After Vshojo released their last word on the matter following Nux's receipts exonerating him, Nux chose not to respond again. Preferring to just move on because "it ended up getting friends of mine involved... A lot of friends of mine got messaged by people saying "if you ever associate with Nux again we will blacklist you from the Vtuber community...if you Collab with Nux I will never associate with you again"" and that's why he didn't fight back he figured his receipts were enough and everyone that mattered was on his side anyway. He has receipts on the threats, and he thought about making a video on it, but he didn't want to drag his friends into it so he moved on, but I assume he does have them accessible in case anyone is foolish enough to refute him on this.
Nowadays he doesn't reach out for collabs anymore and if he is invited he will send hate videos on him to the potential partner, and tell them that his haters might come for them, and he makes sure that is something they are willing to risk.
