Lazulight is getting anniversary merch:

But why is Nijisanji retweeting a special account instead of just tweeting the merch out themselves?

It's a brand new account made just last month, the Lazulight merch is the first tweet.
I checked out that CyberAgent company and it seems they are a pretty old and well established advertising company who have previously worked with NijiEN on the scale figures that went up for pre-order last year:

Incidentally, Ike also had one of those figures which has disappeared from the site but is still available to view on retailer pages. Shipments are supposed to happen in September, which will be a day of remembrance for Quilldren I guess.

Anyways, back to the anniversary merch. I find it interesting that a marketing firm is involved with a relatively routine merch drop, and I wonder what the background reasons are. Could indicate a direction for the EN branch, both positive and possibly negative.
Apart from this new EN merch, the CyberAgent/Cyber Goods Store also carries CrazyRaccon gummies, some HypMic snack, ROFMAO crackers (the snack, not the racial epithet) and they also make the
Hololive Gamers drink. Again, kinda weird that its mostly food stuffs, but the EN anniversary stuff is mostly the same old acrylic goods.
Edit: Also sort of interesting, but probably unrelated to the marketing firm stepping in, Finana suggested the theme for the anniversary merch.
