Yeah, this tracks the best. She just doesn't want other people to know about her hobbies and job which is a bit strange in the western world.
I don't think Mumei will stream again but might do things like Namie, just for fun posts or whatever. For Shion, she posted that something that implies she isn't Hinata.

I still think a lot of these girls joined for a much laxer working environment where shit was just slapped together on the fly and vtubing was seen as much more of a "hobby that makes you money". Now these girls are basically half-streamer half-pop star, with a billion responsibilities and limitations, I don't think you have to complicate the reasoning so much to see why some members aren't really willing to stay anymore.
They also probably didn't expect such a fun looking experience to be so fucking byzantine in their operation. It's only gotten worse as time has gone on as well. Couldn't even get Mumei's million sorted out for fuck's sake.

Yes I can expect and I do expect the company to function at least as smoothly as getting some basic shit done and implemented that ought to be done. It's on the company to deliver the product, and the last few months have put me in a sour state of mind towards Cover.

Cover has always been like this and it is not going to get better as operations become more complex, whoever has delusions that things were ever not very corporate and very japanese is simply blinded by nostalgia.
I think that applies to most people.
Maybe I'm just too opstimistic, but I'd imagine after losing the largest vtuber in the entire industry, it will give Yagoo more motivation to make sure future generations don't suffer the level of burn Holos faced these past years. Like I know there's only so much he can do but I just feel something has to give and unlike Nijisanji I don't think Cover is being maliciously negligent.

No they're just fucking incompetent as always.
Incompetency is Cover's bread and butter. I will never deny that fact.
I just think most of it was growing pains. Cover is stabilizing, the remaining members outside a few are more ride or die or never knew anything outside the "change in direction." I doubt there will be many new generations from now on. We already saw a scaling back as early as 2023 being the last year where talents were expected a 3D live for both their birthday and anniversary. 2025 has been a rough year but I'm imagining it will mostly be a time for regrouping and fixing management if anything. I just can't be completely soured yet.
From what Calli/Kiara/Ina have said, the "queue" should be empty for the time being, at least for EN. I would have preferred to not have lost my top 4 favorites before that happened, though...

Cope. Cover had "growing pains" back in like 2022, that's just a cheap excuse nowadays.
Fumbling shit has been a constant with them and it will never stop, just accept that this company is retarded 40% of the time. I don't believe in whatever dumb investor or maliciousness rrats idiots online come up with because the explanation for shit in terms of Cover is almost always "somebody inside is a moron" and literally nothing beyond that, no need to overthink it.
Cover doesn't need investors to fuck shit up, they always have.

It's fucked up but after hearing this last karaoke and her voice just... not working, I feel a bit better about her leaving. She threw a bit of shade at one point, basically she edited a video herself so it was on time, saying it was easy.
Mumei, and for that matter, Fauna, were never my top HoloEN streamers, so their graduations hurt me in a sense that it hurts other girls and make me doubt about Cover and its future, but hearing Mumei voice shaking gets even to me...
