They have some anecdotes, but even with those they fail to realize that "post hoc ergo propter hoc" can be a fallacy. In some cases it is possible to prove that a correlation is a causation, but that requires rigorous clinical research, which obviously no one has done in this case.
They've started documenting her family members as well. I would hope and assume Shondo has taken precautionary steps. It's possible to protect yourself and weather this, like the Yabbit has (Shondo should probably reach out to her for advice).
I'm no expert, but if this happened to me I would start by changing passwords on my socials/emails. Then since my family is involved I'd have to somehow communicate to them that imposters/bad actors might try to mess with them and/or get information out of them. I'd probably tell my fanbase and collab partners to check their OPSEC too. And then have some contingency plans for swatting/internet raids/harassment. KF might have rules against organized harassment, but on the broader internet you will have opportunistic individuals and other rogue groups. Again, hope Shondo is doing all this and more.
