That tweet just unlocked a memory in my brain.... I now know what movie I am going to watch tonight.
A couple thing from the Erina stream without going too deep.
Uni keeps killing her, but also real life has been "hectic".
She is, in fact, not ESL. She was raised in English and got mocked in preschool for not speaking Tagalong. The teacher had to translate everything for her and she thinks that teacher hated her for it.
Her English is still better than her Tagalong.
She's been feeling really sad lately that's why she just put up the waiting room and the twit suddenly. She didn't have a plan, just wanted to hang out.
Gearsis made a surprise appearance and got more supas than Erina. I love the good vibes she has with her family.
She was TOTALY not drunk, guys.

Same. Her streams with her sisters are so much fun. Really nice just listening to them chatting and having a good time on stream.
Will definitely catch the stream in a bit when I get home. Been nice seeing her stream more. Might sound a little weird to say about someone who is quite a bit younger than me, but her streams really do give off comfy vibes. Been missing that. I just hope things outside of streaming start getting better for her. Thankfully, it seems like she at least has her family there for her.

I thought the only benefit of the en subs was to do them in the first few seconds of the video to grab your attention, sorta like what SSSniperwolf does? Only other benefit I could see is just being eye candy for zoomers, but are there even that many zoomers watching Phase?

It also sucks when you're trying to edit in a specific style and then have to go back and change things so that the subtitles can actually fit.
What a lot of Vtubers want is more like a commercial then a stream clip. They want constant attention grabbing visuals and sound effects where even the subs have to wiggle and make popping noises. Sometimes there's not even a joke or coherent subject. It's just jiggling keys in your face. And they'll will pay like 20$ for someone to spend 4-5 hours making these super edited 1-2 minute videos. Bro.... 20/5...... that's not enough money, your life is worth more then that man.
I'll put subs on Remi clips because people legitimately don't know what she's saying sometimes. I want them to be easily readable though, I don't want them popping and wiggling all over. I'll put in the time to try and make decent clip of my Oshi, but I'm the #1 audience of my clips. It's for me.

People in lia's age bracket would be most of the audience I reckon. The younger they are the more their brains are legit rotten due to being ipad babies. I'm not kidding they can't focus on something if there isn't something going off in the screen or some loud noise. That can be corrected with some beatings during their elementary school days but the average parent does fuckall and leaves parenting to the school.
I grew up on computers learning how to download roms and know which site had viruses and did not. I feel spared that I never touched Tik-Tok. I cannot comprehend what's going on in younger zoomers' brains.
