In this case, I'm talking about how much Niji is earning. When people talk about the branch dying, they imagine it barely makes any money and therefore Niji will eventually shut it down to save costs or whatever.
Well, sucks that he's graduating. Like many have already said here he was one of the cooler members still standing in Niji. I Hope the best for his future. Some notes so far:
- 5th of may (graduation post is going up after the stream)
- Leaving on good terms
- The kind of content he wants to do and topics he wants to discuss don't fit with Niji's guidelines (i.e. the content he did on PL for example)
- Fuck the dramafags (paraphrasing) who want to spin this
Some personal notes:
- His not being able to travel was always going to make things difficult, this last off-collab noctyx had was nice but hard to replicate
- His Legatus 505 legend being finished presents a nice opportunity to exit on a high note, similarly to Mayuzumi Kai from JP
- His PL content was pretty different from what he did as Fulgur. He did a lot more content based around dark and BL fiction, including reviews and live readings, which were never going to be possible under Nijisanji
Ryoma seems fairly decent only issue is his entire wave's reputation went to shit because they were the first gen to debut post Selen shitshow. Vantacrow and Doppio and Alban are also fairly decent from what I have seen.Honestly a legit loss for them. He and Ren Zotto are the only two tolerable Niji Males in EN. He wasn't implicated in the bullying that we know of and even spoke fondly of Selen after the shitstorm. He also looked out for Scarle after the Aster DMs leaked in the ensuing fallout of said shitstorm.
I find it hilarious that they are sperging out over dramafags. I don't think how this could be spun into other than possibly he is just better off as an indie without the bad rep from the corpo to push people away and without having to deal with a revenue cut. Some notes so far:

That could be a very possible thing. He's a nice guy, I'll be vshojobegging...![]()
Superchat numbers went to shit. Would be nice to compare 2024 with 2023.How would you back that up, though? Cursory glance at what little playboard allows to see[for free] re:supas shows that at least Aia and Luca are still doing quite well in terms of superchat money(the other three i checked were Rosemi, Ver and Enna who don't seem to be doing as well), not to mention we have no data regarding merch sales and profit off of that.
His name was Fungus Covid, sir.Congratulations, Fulgur Covid.
I don't catch all streams, so maybe I missed something, or I have a different definition of "up one's own ass". I can't think of anything from her that implies she thinks she's perfect/infallible, or too good for others, which are the two things I think of as "up one's own ass". Could you elaborate?...Shame Doki is too far up her own ass atm though.
Considering Scarle is there being degen and JP still lowkey doing it, it might be Haachama-level of dark, maybe grimdark too.Wait, I know that some weirdos like Utako and others have left, but Niji should be the prime company to do bizarre perverted stuff and especially BL for the fujos. Was it Haachama level dark that would get demonetized?

Good luck I suppose as I don't recall any Indie/Niji collabs. Looking quickly at the most popular retirees, most collab with Holo/other companies though Tsuna had a collab with a Korean Niji in the last year.Uki has said he wants to push for more freedom in collaborating with former Nijis so he can continue to be gay with Fulgur.
I think that's a great idea, in fact I have already said it was a great idea when I proposed it in the NijiL thread months ago.
They would help themselves so much in getting into collabs and group projects like that. Not even just with former Nijis directly, but currently having to mostly avoid anything a former NijiEN is even halfway involved in is really hurting and isolating them at a time where the scene at large is finally opening up to them again.

I linked Roboco because she credited all the collab members, something that many don't and it drives me crazy
Aoi doesn't even have any Niji's in her tournaments - https://e-elements.jp/special/asgs202412/#cast. Really feels like collabing with ex-niji's is highly discouraged. To be fair I think most corpo talents don't collab with ex-talents, even in EN (ex-vshojo, stars and I guess Phase). Niji's 180+ members just make it feel more glaring.
I do hope the dam breaks just like the Holo/Niji dam when Kiara and Pomu wanted to hang out.
It's crazy you would say all of that when this was only two weeks ago, and it's Aoi as well:
One of the things Fulgur said that made Uki want to push was that JP already does get more freedom and people like yamien (formerly Mayuzumi Kai) already meet current Nijis on an almost regular basis. And you have Vivi being in the same tournament as Doki, although with several restrictions, showing that there is some room to negotiate on the EN side as well and it's definitely not a hard line.
Come to think of it the collabs that Twisty did before her suspension were all with smaller corpos like V&U and PixelLink.Good luck I suppose as I don't recall any Indie/Niji collabs.
Before the Selen Nuke Finana used to collab with a few girls from Prism (RIP) and Elira still occasionally collabs with ex-Kawaii girls.Come to think of it the collabs that Twisty did before her suspension were all with smaller corpos like V&U and PixelLink.
It wouldn't be that big of a jump in the current climate where you have Enna and Quinn openly yucking it up like they always did, but unless they set up some kind of affiliate system for that like Holo or leave it a considerable amount of time before it happens, that would be the final nail in the coffin for vtuber kayfabe. It'd be painfully awkward continuing projects from a few weeks ago having to pretend the person in the call with them is a completely different guy, when their old character's still fresh in everyone's memory.Uki has said he wants to push for more freedom in collaborating with former Nijis so he can continue to be gay with Fulgur.
