The problem with VRChat sex drama is that because it's so prevalent, nobody can properly document what these people were up to without also exposing their own embarrassing pasts there, and because boundary-crossing behaviour is so prominent in those circles I doubt the intentions of anyone who were to make an exposé on someone involved. It's very easy to just remove actions from the context in which they were happening to shock anyone unfamiliar with how those ERP groups operate, without actually demonstrating what makes that person uniquely bad compared to the hundreds of others around them - which makes it incredibly easy to weaponise callouts, instead of sharing them out of genuine concern.
I'm just curious on how such a weirdly high population shadow network of the modern EN vtubing scene was birthed out of VR Chat.
Other than "person pretends to be cartoon character" there is like hardly any connection, especially given VR Chat isn't even a stream platform just a fucking game. So many of them just...became streamers...and became popular streamers...and became popular streamers behind a Live2D model...
With that, its funny that one of the few major VRChat fags being exposed was Raziel and Luca
and almost immediately, people pointed out how she was giving him e-lapdances when he was 17 or 16 or whatever the fuck

I distinctly remember when Geega first joined VShojo within that first few weeks she was on stream yapping with Merry about "the good old days" of some Discord server (the name of which got censored in the clip) and how they're now surprised that "so many" modern and popular EN vtubers seemed to congregate to that Discord, despite that Discord not being a vtuber discord...
Youtube search isn't helping me find the clip because god dammit YouTube has sabotaged its own search in favor of showing you 2 search results then just cutting it off and showing your recommended feed.

They just run in the same circles, so when one finds success in something the others will follow suit. A lot of these people are tight-knit so they'll keep each other close, in some cases because they're actually friends, in others because they're scared of certain people's loose lips and want to make sure nothing embarrassing about themselves slips out.
It's a poisonous self-maintaining cycle that prevents these people from maturing properly. In most cases I'd say that someone being involved in a bunch of cringe sexual degeneracy in their late-teens/early twenties doesn't really speak to their character past Christmas cake age, but as long as they're sucking up to people who could humiliate them in an instant if they wanted to, they're never going to be able to mentally move past it.
Well Menace has said she's always wanted to do this stuff bell during said stream she admitted she had been "training" with the plug during other streams so make of that what you wil.

I think it's smart not to draw further attention to it, I can't stand it when parents put information about their children out there on the Internet since it both puts them at risk and violates their own autonomy over how much of themselves they want to share with the world.
However, I absolutely abhor censorship, and a corporate entity throwing its weight around to have information suppressed should always be condemned.
This is why I'm of two minds about it. Knowing how the modern internet/social media operates I tell any of my cousins or my brother who have kids DEAR GOD NEVER PUT PICTURES OF YOUR KIDS ON ANY PUBLIC SOCIAL MEDIA IN FACT YOU PROBABLY SHOULDN'T EVEN LET PEOPLE KNOW YOU HAVE KIDS. When they try and brush my advice off I show them pretty much just any Rainbolt video and watch the color drain out of their face.
So under that policy, Ironmouse is Ten Thousand Percent in the right for hiding her kid from the internet. Hell I would. But there's still the part of my lizard brain that's telling me -- yes, without good reason and just gutteral instinct -- that she's doing it for "the wrong reasons."

I know Geega was one of the center pieces of the 2020 EN scene because of her experience and others flocked in as described in the video, but I don't think she was one of the horny teenagers or sex predators from that time. She's mid 30s already and very grounded individual, can't surmise she'd do anything stupid to that degree.
Merry and other femboys, however, are fair game, it's probably an educated guess to think they've engaged in ERP in some form or another considering how easily he and other twinks bend to the public opinion - basically the best target for groomers.
