Overall there is no ideal way for a streamer of Pippa's size to accept fan submissions. The Phase Discord is run by overzealous mods who've banned a lot of her regulars, and is prone to off-topic spam. The Google form submissions aren't reliable because they rely on third-party image hosts so she ends up with useless submissions containing broken links. Twitter responses get lost among the replies to all her other tweets, and hashtags can't be moderated so people could easily spam NSFW content to get her in trouble.
The reddit was an attempt at finding the solution to the problem, and it didn't work. That's fine, not every experiment pays off, and I think anyone reasonable would be patient with teething problems that occur from trying out a new thing. My only real criticism of Pippa in this situation is she needs to get over this mindset that anonymous criticism is more valid since the /pcg/ backlash is likely what led to this knee-jerk overcorrection; while I do somewhat understand where she's coming from since most streamer backlash on Twitter etc. is performative, the lack of post history on /vt/ means it's impossible to tell which posts are earnest feedback from actual fans and which posts are concern trolling from drivebys.
