If ALL of the lights were tripped, it's probably a sensor/computer issue rather than a mechanical one.
dying battery, loose battery connection, bad alternator

I'm playing the game on-and-off throughout the day to get more information for Pippa

-Director Akikawa is basically Shiina, just put a crab on her head instead of a cat.

-Even if failure rate during training is 1%, do not test the RNG on a tight schedule

-Even if your Uma has the highest stats possible in comparison to others in a race, they could still fumble during it, and lose spectacularly; especially in the Tutorial Baby Race, which will set your training schedule back even further!

-She is not going to win any of the career modes on her first go, because it's based on long-term progression by going through all of your Uma Musume to gain passive buffs via Legacy, so that when you *do* start winning, it'll feel earned from all of the effort put into it. tl;dr: play game, get better at game, stonks.

-Each Uma Musume should be considered an entirely different training regime. Some will be "better" than others, some will be "easier" than others, just don't fall into the trap of training all stats evenly. You'll get a feel for what each Uma needs, the more you put them through careers.

-Make sure to put multiple Umas through the career mines, because there is no one-size fits all in terms of Legacy, or even Team Composition. The more you do it, the easier it'll get over the long-term, just like real life-

-I got the banner unit in 30 pulls from the free gems, which also got me another SSR (Mejiro McQueen) as a surprise hit in between. So it's entirely possible to be "surprised" by standard banner units with a sudden rarity change during the pulling phase, same with Support cards.

-Different Support Cards = Different Events in Career + Different Skills + Different Bonuses, but you can't run the support card of an Uma in Career Mode at the same time. So if you have a Gold Ship SSR Support Card, you can't run it with Gold Ship during her career.

-Claim the gifts for launch day, she'll get an SSR Guarantee Pick Ticket, and I *strongly* recommend her choosing Oguri Cap, because if she doesn't have her when she finally watches Cinderella Gray, her autism will compel her to spend more than she reasonably should! (Prove me wrong)

-If she clears the 7-day Launch missions, she'll get another SSR ticket.

-If she absolutely *must* spend money, focus on the starter packages first and the monthly get-crystals-each-day pass, which combined will cost roughly the same as a new video game. With those packages, she'll get 1 SSR Uma Ticket + 1 SSR Support Ticket + 3600 Paid Gems. Spend those 3000 paid gems on the Guaranteed SSR Uma + SSR Support banners, limited 1 each at 1500 paid crystals, almost as if those packages were meant to be used on those banners. In total, that will give her another 2 SSR Umas and 2 SSR Support.

-If she does all the above, she'll have a handful of SSR Umas and SSR Supports without going into debt from Day One. And that's not including all of the gems she'll get by just playing the game! I am doing everything I can to make sure she doesn't spend exorbitant amounts of money on these horse girls, when she'll realistically get what she wants over a long enough time period. Please do not give into the FOMO.

-Yesterday's dailies reset by the time I finish writing this (maybe), so she'll be one day behind, and that surely won't bother her at all, right?

She should also have been given dozens of stamina refill items as part of the launch campaign, so she could theoretically run an entire week of nothing but attempting to clear the first career mode over multiple Umas, and she would still have content to spare. Please look forward to it!

...Anyway, I'm still mad at my Uma for face-planting in the Tutorial Baby Race after a 1% training failure, she's going to the glue factory.
