Certainly gonna be an interesting dynamic to observe.

I've always had this kind of mental map of vtubers. Which orgs and indies are close and which are far based on audience overlap and collabs. Orgs together, indies filling up the spaces between. If they were countries, Bao would be a close neighbour of Phase Connect. But Jerry would be on the far side of the Phase country, while I'd put Hime, Clara and Panko on the close side. Doesn't mean they'd get along or whatnot, or interact a lot. Maybe there are figurative mountains dividing them, even if they are close. Just a way I kind of make sense of it.

That's a good idea, Sometimes a clip just doesn't get views, but it's really funny. Why not just recycle it and see what happens if your goal is mainly to get eyes on the vtuber?

But that's not even remotely correct.
Bao streams on twitch, for starters, and the twitch-youtube gap is arguably even larger than indie-corpo gap.
Secondly, Bao is a large indie while Phase is a small-to-medium-size corpo, the circles really don't align with each other.
As an example, in Bao's recent "what role would each vtuber have in a horror movie" tierlist which got posted here, IIRC, four Phase talents were present: Pippa, the flagship talent of the company whom Bao met once by complete accident*, Tenma, who frequently streams on twitch, Lumi, who frequently streams on twitch, and Lia, who Bao met by another complete accident** and the two clicked and quickly became friends.
And up until right now it felt entirely reasonable to assume that those are the only people Bao knows about in Phase simply because there are no real points of intersection between her and Phase girls. So yeah, i'm really curious how she and Jelly even started talking to get this set up.

*Out of complete nowhere Yuzu invited Pippa into a REPO collab where Bao was also present. We[meaning pippathread] still have no idea what prompted Yuzu to do that.

**Bao and Lia got randomly put together in the same team in the streamers Apex tournament.

Yeah, the twitch divide is a big one, but as I said, there are a lot of other factors. I'm not saying she would be right on the border, like MariMari_EN was, but maybe in between VShojo and Phase.

Basically I'm picturing something like this but just vtubers and on both twitch and youtube, but powered solely by my autism instead of actual data and math. It's gonna be fucked.

Gunbum was better known as the Eimi cosplayers but by some reason she was hired for Marimari, now defending the event
