To me, it does seem that Rie has a sort of niche – aside from just the incest, she is generally a lewd girl with Tumblr tastes (and, occasionally, Tumblr opinions) who is fond of publicly humiliating herself and maniacally simping for Tumblr sexymen (and women). What may be limiting her "growth", however, is that this niche overlaps heavily with a number of her colleagues, such as Eimi, Erina and especially Lia.

It was a remark she made on stream, when she was talking about the Percy Jackson books. She said that one of the reasons she preferred Percy Jackson over Harry Potter was that the author wasn't "a transphobic piece of shit" like JK Rowling. There's a clip of it here.
Nowadays, Clara has definitely one-upped her when it comes to political spergouts, but back then Rie stood out as the only Phase member to make a "woke" remark like that, and it also got more scrutiny once the Hogwarts Legacy drama started happening.

She really is her own worst enemy. Real shame because I know most would agree she's very talented and an invaluable member of Phase with how much work she puts into organizing/helping organize different Phase events, group projects, and collabs. I definitely have respect for the work she puts in for everything, including her solo content. Heck, she wrote the lyrics to my favorite Phase song, Golden Night.
I admittedly don't watch her as much these days because some of her stuff is a bit much for me, along with major timezone differences, but I do like her and will still catch a stream from time to time. She was also the first member of Gen 2 that I became a recurring viewer of at the time because of some funny streams and clips she had.
I'd say that I hope she can learn to realize her own self worth and gain some confidence in herself, but I know that's much easier said than done because of whatever medically diagnosed mental issues she has. I just hope things get better for her and that she doesn't make any rash decisions during one of her lower moments. Definitely wishing the best for her.
Her existence is indifferent to me on her own but when she's in a collab with people I like she drags things down. I shit on her because it's funny to me that she reads all of it and makes her seethe because she's an insecure carpet muncher. If she would stop being that annoying most people would praise her more.
I'm gonna be real for a moment and offer some words to Rie. Rie you aren't a main character, you don't have enough star power to be one in the scene but that isn't a bad thing. In terms you understand, every kpop group has other members that complement the main hitters. You're a good support, get it through you lesbian head. Once you accept it, things will be better.

One thing Hime does that's noticeably different for someone who doesn't watch her that often is Project Moon games. Even though Tenma also plays/played them, I'd say Rie's the go to in Phase for Limbus Company and their other games.
Since I only know library of ruina little bit, I can't say whether this is something good or not. She seems a big fan though, so at least she's probably enjoying streaming them.
