And while I believe everything runs through the company, that might not be perfectly true or that everything is quite captured properly. It's important to remember that SCs while big for Coco and Rushia, were never a major chunk of the Revenue around Cover and their IPs.

As a reminder, Japanese Income Taxes are pretty rough, so Rushia could have easily reinvested a good chunk within the company for projects. This is why Marine does the 100k USD or more MVs. It's better long term economics, but it also builds a much stronger community. So, final take home pay was probably in the 2-3 million USD range.

Before taking returns as salary, you can send that money into projects within Cover Corp. So, given the nature of income taxes, it makes sense to re-invest a lot of the income as projects that can have bigger marketing returns rather than take more money than you really need out. Cover basically operates like a Line of Credit for the members. It's actually a pretty good setup, but they can go pretty negative for a while. Though they still have baseline salaries.
