Short story is Pippa and Sleepy were calling random people in the company. After Sakana/managers/etc. whom which they had a reason for calling, they called Clio for the heck of it. Sleepy seemed not to want to intrude on Clio's stream, but Pippa kept inciting , including having both Clio and Sakana on. It was hilarious and absolutely worth a watch if you missed that part.

Sleepy was probably just being extra polite as that's her personality + she's in a new company culture, the fear is it'll give Pippa the brainworms like the collabs where she had momentary autisms. This is not one of those momentary autisms but she could always gaslight herself into thinking that.

Went to go listen to it and well technically new lore it is also nothing unexpected from year 1 Pippa. She was well paranoid of Phase just collapsing in that era and the basement were the first new people coming in so it triggered her imposter syndrome hard. I don't think she has ever talked in depth but there are snippets of her first interactions with gen 2 throughout pipistory but you'd need a full historian to be able to point you to them so if this distinct encounter has been mentioned by Pippa I can't recall. She has mentioned watching them slowly get added to Discord in the past as well.

Yeah it's not shocking new discovery, it is entirely in character for her to do something like this - i'd say even now, but especially with first-year brainworms.
