Happy for Sleepy. She seems so sweet not wanting to step on other's schedules (not realizing how few it seems actually plan their schedule) and not wanting to collab beg. She also has good chat engagement and yaps every observation during her gameplay so far. I don't know how long the debut hype can last but some timely raids and collab opportunities (phase or otherwise) will definitely keep her afloat due to her model and personality. Rooting for her.

Fair enough. I'm just judging by where I am, where the better alternatives are both cheaper and readily available.
Price and availability, probably? Doesn't really matter if the 4070 ti is better than the 5070 if you can't find one anywhere. Her 3060 ti died, so she can't really wait around for them to get in stock.

Re: numbers numbers numbers - it's been over a year since Phase has had new talents, so everyone is keen to see what they're like. Helps that Clio and MariMari_EN have primarily been on Twitch, and Sleepy was underexposed, and have now introduced themselves to a pretty large audience unused to their content. Also helps that they all have good chemistry with the wider Phase Connect sphere and feel like they fit right in, but Phase Connect has always been good with picking talents that align with its brand.
Regarding long-term CCV growth, I don't know where to find YouTube CCV data, but Phase Connect has managed double-digit growth for its watch time for the previous two years. I see no reason not to think that trend will not continue this year at this rate.

There's at least one vtuber who has already done this (Salome from NijiJP, on her debut stream no less – though AFAIK she's not much of a fleshposter otherwise). I think there might've been someone else who did as well, but I can't remember off the top of my head.
